In this article you will find:
ADDITION OF NEW KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS
To speed up your work, in the Schedule module you can use the following keyboard shortcuts:
Cmd/Ctrl + A: Select all shifts
Cmd/Ctrl + C: Copy all shifts
Cmd/Ctrl + V: Paste all shifts
Note 🗒: The Cmd (command) key corresponds to the Mac environment and Ctrl (control) corresponds to the Windows environment.
APPEARANCE OF AN ERROR MESSAGE ON UNPUNCHED CARDS
To inform you more quickly of the time cards that need to be checked and corrected, an error message in yellow appears at the top of the Punch Cards module so that you can see the number of shifts that do not have corresponding punch cards.
ADDITION OF A HISTORY OF CONSULTATION OF MESSAGES IN THE CONTACT LISTS
It is sometimes difficult to know if the employee is aware that they have shifts suggested to them. To be sure the communication has gone through, you can now find out if the employee has read the message informing them of the available shifts by viewing the history by clicking on Contact Lists > View List > Option drop down menu next to an employee's name > View History. The following window will appear:
If it says "Message seen", as in 4th line of the image above, then the employee has received the message.
NEW FEATURES IN THE PROJECTS MODULE
From the Projects module, you can now View the schedule template that corresponds to a project, which saves you from going back to the Schedule Templates module.
In addition, you can Apply to the schedule this template, and therefore the project associated with it. This allows you to perform these important actions much faster from the same page.
ADDITION OF COMPLEMENTARY INFORMATION IN THE EMPLOYEE SELECTION TOOL
To speed up your work, you can now see the permits, contracts and hiring dates of employees from the Employee Selection tool. This saves you the trouble of checking the specifics of each employee in the Users module, so you know in one click which employees are the most qualified for the shift.
CHANGES IN THE SHIFT PUBLICATION SYSTEM
In order to have an optimal view of the schedule, only shifts with an assigned employee can now be published.
SIMPLIFICATION OF THE SCHEDULE VIEW OPTIONS
Before this update, you had a lot of Schedule View options at your disposal, and sometimes having too many setting choices makes it more complicated! So we've kept only the options you use the most in the View drop-down menu to make it more readable.
Note 🗒: The View options you were not using are now effective by default.
OPTIMIZATION OF THE ADMIN PORTAL
Sometimes you could get lost in the Admin portal because of all the settings available to you, so we reorganized the options bar into 5 categories so you can find your way around better. All pages are still there, they are now available in the 4 drop down menus.
We have also removed the application settings that you use the least in the different modules to improve the visibility of the options. For example, if you are using the Call System, you now have 5 options available instead of 8.
Note 🗒: The options you were not using in each module are now effective by default.
