AUTOMATIC CALCULATION OF OVERTIME (BETA FEATURE)
Overtime is now taken into account in the generic payroll report. You will find it under the "Salary" column. Overtime is also displayed when you export the report in .CSV.
Note 🗒: Make sure you have the earnings codes set up correctly! These are the reason why overtime is calculated correctly.
NEW REMINDER TO UPDATE AVAILABILITIES
You can now automatically send a notification to all employees that their availabilities are about to expire. To do so, go to the Admin portal > Availabilities and check the option "Enable cutoff date for availabilities". Then set the day, time and interval at which this message should be sent.
Some employees may not need to receive these notifications. These employees can disable availability update reminders directly from their profile by clicking on their name > My Notifications > "Disable reminders for submission cutoff availabilities".
POSSIBILITY TO CREATE A SCHEDULE TYPE FOR EACH DEPARTMENT
We noticed that many of our clients had departments that always had the same shifts. So we decided to add the "Department" field to the schedule type creation page.
Go to the Admin portal > Schedule > Schedule Type. Enter the name, start and end times and the department that this schedule type will be associated with.
NEW OPTION TO VIEW SCHEDULE ISSUES
Adjusting the schedule is usually the most time consuming task! To save you time, in the Schedule, click on the Schedule Issues option and then choose the date on which you want to check the schedule.
By clicking on the Action button to the right of the issue you have chosen, you can now change the shift, the position or the user in the same window. You don't have to find the error through the software anymore, you can correct it right here!
ABILITY TO ADD A MESSAGE IN FRENCH AND ENGLISH WHEN CREATING A SHIFT
Managing a bilingual team is not easy every day! If this is your case, we allow you to write messages in both languages. No need to write two messages, you only have to write one now!
First write "#fr" in the text box, skip a line, then write your message in French. Then skip a line, write "#en", skip another line and write your message in English, as shown below.
For the user, the message will be displayed only in the language in which they use the platform. In the example below, you can see that the message changes depending on whether the platform is in French or English.
NEW TYPE OF ATTRIBUTES: "ALERTS"
This attribute acts as a reminder to the user rather than a filter. For example, a security guard's uniform is ready and he has to go get it: we could then set a two-week expiration to this alert with a message explaining to the security guard how to go get it.
This allows the Merinio system to automatically handle messages and calls sent to the employee.
