What you will find in this article :

EMPLOYEES CAN EXPORT THEIR SCHEDULE

Some users are used to having their schedule in a table format and may have been a little confused about the layout of their schedule on the application. No worries, they can now export their schedule to have it in a table format with all the necessary information: date, time, position, location, etc.

Note 🗒: Employees should make sure it is the final version of schedule!

REDUCTION OF EMAILS SENT TO EMPLOYEES

Previously, if an employee was assigned to a NON-PUBLICATED shift and it was deleted, they would receive an email that their shift had been cancelled. However, when a shift is not published, it does not appear in the employee's schedule, so the employee would receive an email that was not necessary.

Now, when you delete an unpublished shift, the "Send a cancellation notice" checkbox no longer appears.

The "Send cancellation notice" checkbox is still present when you delete a PUBLISHED shift, so the employee will receive a notification that their shift has been deleted.

CHANGES IN THE CREATION OF EMPLOYEE LOGIN INFORMATION

You no longer need to set a password for the employee in the Hiring Information section: the employee will set their own password when registering for the first time.

It is also no longer necessary to define an Employee ID: it is the employee number by default and/or the user's email.

Note 🗒: Login with email only works if the email is unique in your database.

VISUAL IMPROVEMENTS OF THE EMPLOYEE AVAILABILITY LIST

Before this update, all columns were visible by default (For, User Details, Availabilities, Validity, Created on, Updated on, Validated on), which made the page not very readable.

Now only the For, Availabilities and Validity columns are displayed by default. With the View button, you can add all the other columns you need.

NEW BUTTON INDICATING THE LOCK DATE OF THE PUNCH CARDS

In our update last month we added the option to lock punch cards, we strongly recommend you to read this article if you want to know more.

So we improved this feature by allowing you to easily see the date the punch cards were locked and edit it.

Note 🗒: You can only edit the time card if you have the "Administrator" permission.
