What you will find in this article:
ADDITION OF THE CONCEPT OF CLIENT SENIORITY IN USER PROFILES
Adding a client's seniority date to an employee's profile means entering the date the user started working with that client. When you create a project with this client, the employees who have worked the longest with this client will be the first in the list of people you can assign to the project.
1. Go to the Users module, choose the user you want to assign and click on Edit on the right of the screen.
2. Click on the Hiring information drop-down menu and then go to the Client base seniority option. You can add as many clients as you want by clicking on the + button. To remove a client from this user's profile (if they will not be working with this client in the future for example) click on the trash can icon to the right of the Seniority Date.
3. To add the ability to assign projects to employees based on client seniority, go to the Admin portal > List configurations > Config (sorts) and follow the steps shown below to create this type of ranking.
Note 🗒: If you assign two clients to a shift, the one with the oldest seniority date will be given priority.
NEW OPTION TO ADD SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS TO A SHIFT
To make it even easier to find the employee who matches all the criteria you need for a shift, we've added a Required attributes field when you create a shift.
1. To enable this option, go to the Admin portal > Attributes and check the Enable shift specific attributes box.
2. Once the option is enabled, now go to the Management portal > Schedule and create or edit an existing shift. Under the Other Info drop-down menu, you will find the Required attributes field.
You can add as many attributes as you want by clicking on the + button. To remove an attribute required for this shift click on the trash can icon to the right of the Training level.
Note 🗒: This new option simplifies the payroll process for you, as payroll is linked to shifts.
ADDITION OF A GRAPH IN THE SCHEDULE TO OBSERVE IF IT HAS IRREGULARITIES
This graph works as follows: the height of the bars on the graph is proportional to the number of shifts at that time compared to the total number of shifts in the day. This allows you to see the times when shifts overlap the most, and therefore the times when the most employees are working.
You will find this graph in Management > Schedule and it only works in the Daily View. To see it, in the View drop-down menu, click on Show schedule summary row.
NEW OPTION TO SEND A COMMENT TO YOUR EMPLOYER OR TO THE MERINIO TEAM
In order for you to communicate to us or to the managers your observations concerning the use of the platform, we have added a Send feedback button at the bottom of each page of the software.
By clicking on it, you can choose who to send your feedback to.
The option to send feedback to Merinio is always active, but the option to send feedback to managers is disabled by default, to enable it, go to the Admin portal > Management and enter the email address where feedback will be received.
If you do not enter an email address, employees will not be able to send messages to managers. If they try this error message will appear:
ALL THE OPTIONS TO EDIT SHIFTS IN THE SCHEDULE ON A COMPUTER ARE NOW AVAILABLE IN THE MOBILE APP
Note that this option is present on the mobile version of Merinio, i.e. when you enter yourcompany.merinio.com in your web browser, this version does NOT correspond to the Merinio application that you downloaded from the App Store (IOS) or the Play Store (Android) installed on your smartphone
In Management > Schedule, when you tap on a shift, the options that already exist in the version on your computer appear.
ABILITY TO OPEN A USER'S PROFILE DIRECTLY BY CLICKING ON A SHIFT ASSIGNED TO THEM
In order to make quicker changes to an employee, you can now also access his profile from the schedule. This can be useful if, for example, you want to spontaneously assign a customer or add him to a project.
Go to the Schedule module, right-click on the shift of your choice and click on Open user profile.
