This feature allows you to identify potential schedule conflicts and correct them.

1. Click on Manage then Schedule. Now you can click on the Tools drop-down menu, then on Scheduling issues.

2. Determine the period you want to check for scheduling problems.

  • To check schedule conflicts for a single day, double-click on the desired day.

  • To check another period than the one you have chosen, click on the garbage can next to the date and select a new period.

3. Add more detail to the search field using Filters.

Enter, for example, a Department, a Position or a specific User by typing their name in the Search bar.

Examples :

  • Period + Supervisor (Position): Will represent all errors concerning Supervisors working during the selected period

  • Period + Sales Associate (Position) + Store (Department): Will represent all errors for Sales Associates working in the Store department who work during the selected period

  • Period + Store (Department) + Marketing (Department): Will represent all the errors in the Store and Marketing departments

4. Selects the Filter to be applied to the search

If you don't know which filter to choose, leave the Main Filter which is the default filter.

⚠︎ To create a new Filter you need to have access to the Admin menu, from here you will be able to create all the necessary filters in the Configuration (Filters) menu ⚠︎

If you would like to see the schedule issues that have been resolved, check the Show resolved shifts box at the bottom of the page.

5. Click on Submit and wait a few moments while the software loads all errors

6. Choose between :

  • Resolve to indicate the problem as solved

  • Click on Actions

  • Edit shift opens the Edit shift window. In our example in the screenshot below, the problem with this shift is Robert Giroux's lack of skills for this position.

    You can :

    • Assign another qualified employee to the Care Supervisor position via the user field.

    • Assign Robert Giroux to another position for which he is qualified.

    • Resolve eligibility issues to automatically assign the Care Supervisor position in Robert Giroux's user profile.

  • Edit position brings you to the Admin menu in the Position Management module. To find out how it works, read our article on position management.

  • Edit user allows you to edit the profile of the employee assigned to this problematic shift. In our example above, Robert Giroux does not have the skills to ensure Care supervisor's position, in his profile you can assign him this skill by clicking on the Hiring Information drop-down menu and then adding Care Supervisor in the Positions field.

Once this is done, go back to the Schedule issues page and click on the white Resolve button.
